Why Dreams?

There are two common meanings behind the word "dream", one referring to the uninhibited imagery people encounter among sleep, and the other describing the realistic, structured, and concious goals that one pursues. As a designer, my job is to find balance between these two contrasts. I  approach disciplined work with timeliness and focus while using the freedom of my creativity to find solutions.

What are my Dreams?

My interests as a designer and as a person align with two different areas; the free and whimsical atmosphere of popular media culture and the insightful  institutions that spread knowledge to others. These institutions include but are not limited to Museums, Libraries, National Parks, Zoos, and Aquariums. I am also interested in design promoting the culture surrounding video games, graphic novels, and fictional work.

On the surface, these two realms may seem notably different, but they both promote the distribution of knowledge throughout their respective communities. As a designer, I aim to help these organizations promote their work, and hope to create a brighter and more unified world in the process.

About Me

I was born and raised in Fairfield, Connecticut. I first developed an interest in cartooning and animation when I was young. Those interests eventually transitioned me to pursue Studio Art for some time during my high school career, and it was during my years at Keene State College when I finally developed an interest in Graphic Design. From that point forward, I built and strengthened my skills in the field.

Thoughout my life, I have placed much importance on creating and learning, and I strive to continue doing the same. I will always strive to sophisticate my skills not only on graphic design, but in all fields that call for intellect and creativity, and my work focuses on spreading these ideals.
